With a legacy rooted in social responsibility, our commitment echo’s the centuries-long tradition of charitable gaming embraced not only by the Catholic Church but also by other charities in the U.S. and Europe.  Humanitarian Gaming is dedicated to giving back while empowering those who wish to gamble socially, with safeguards to prevent excess spending, while fostering a sustainable revenue stream for local charities.

Humanitarian Gaming, which is better known as Charitable Gaming in the United States, has been funding the mission statements of charities in the United States for generations.  First played in 1530 in Italy, the game grew and became more popular being played in France as early as 1770, and as early as 1880 in the United Kingdom – finally making its way to the
United States around 1929.

Charitable Bingo has generated literally billions of dollars throughout the United States and other countries with the Catholic Church being one of its largest beneficiaries (In the US).

Charitable Bingo has helped fund everything from building/repairing churches and schools, to scholarships, the purchase of fire trucks, police equipment, funding youth groups, veterans’, wildlife management, the homeless, and food shelves.  And the list goes on and on.

HOW CAN THE WORDS HUMANITARIAN & CHARITABLE EVEN BE USED WITH THE WORD GAMING ?

On October 17th, 1988, the United States Federal Government, through the “National Indian Gaming Commission” defined three different forms of gaming.

CLASS I

Social games solely for prizes of minimal value amongst a group of people where there is no “for profit” element to the game.  Best summed up – all money wagered is won by the players who are playing.  There is no third-party hosting or profiting from the game.

CLASS III:
We’ll skip
Class II for a moment.

Class III gaming is anything that doesn’t fall under Class I or Class II.  Simply put, Class III is traditional “Las Vegas” or “Casino-Style” gambling.  Table games like roulette, blackjack and craps, slot machines and video poker games and even sports book betting.  Each game is pre-selected to pay back a certain percentage of what it takes in – leaving he “house” a guaranteed sizeable profit.  While prizes you could win are advertised everywhere – there is no timeline as to when those prizes can or will be won.

CLASS II

There are three major differences between Class III and Class II and that is what makes Class II gaming – Humanitarian or Charitable.  Let’s look at Bingo – as that is one of the Class II games we intend to launch in your jurisdiction.

1. All Class II games have a beginning and an end to each game.  Think about this.  Is there ever an end to a slot machine?  The same for book making, Roulette and Blackjack.  This is extremely important for two reasons:
A. With Class II, the speed of the game is slower.  While balls for a Bingo game can be called slow or fast – there isn’t an exchange of money for each call of a ball.  So, the player places his or her bet and they must wait until the end of the game before they can place another bet unlike a slot machine or any other Class III game where players can wager every couple of seconds/minutes.
B.  And the player knows, at the end of each game, someone has won the listed prize – GUARANTEED!
2. All Class II games list the prize that is GUARANTEED to be paid out BEFORE the game begins.  Think about this for a minute.  While slots and other casino style games “tease you” with money you can win – they never will list what will be won, without fail, at the end of each game.
3. The player is playing against another player and not a machine.  This is also very important.  A true Class II bingo game cannot be played against a machine.  It must be played between a minimum of two individuals.  You can have more than two individuals – but you must have at least two individuals to hold a bingo game.

THE BEST PART OF LINKED BINGO?

It is the ONLY GAME where the prizes, as they become larger, become easier to win! Think about that.  Humanitarian Gaming wants people that play to win, while at the same time, help their communities!!

HOW DOES HUMANITARIAN GAMING WORK ?

LOCALLY OWNED

Humanitarian Gaming will help bring on local partners, local people from your chosen jurisdiction and will hire people to help market and manage the game.  So immediately – we create jobs.

GAME INTEGRITY

The bingo game that will be offered has been tested, approved, and certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) – the gold standard in the gaming world.  GLI certifies the integrity of the game.

TRANSPARENCY

The bingo game provided is a “closed loop system”.  Meaning, all monies in and all monies out are accounted for.  It can also be audited by government agencies at any time.  The government agencies and the charities have real time access online to their “dashboard” to see what’s going on with the game – during every minute and every second of every day.

RECURRING REVENUE

Once this game is set up the revenue keeps coming in.  This game is not only recession proof, but it is COVID proof as well.  It generates revenue that the government and the charities can rely on without fail.  Each day, to each week, to each month and for each year – for decades to come – just like in the United States and other countries around the world.

REVENUE FOR THE CHARITY FROM DAY 1

As soon as the game makes money – the charity makes money.  Humanitarian Gaming does not need to make a certain amount of profit before the community benefits – which means there will not be any “half finished” projects!  The Charitie(s) ALWAYS get paid – without fail!  And they get paid daily, weekly, or monthly – depending on each jurisdiction’s laws and/or regulations.

TAXES FOR THE JURISDICTION FROM DAY 1

All jurisdictional agencies have full transparency to the game, and they can receive payment on profits immediately – just like the Charitie(s).

The game has been developed as a responsive web page so anyone can play.  Remember, the game plays just like traditional bingo – but instead of having people show up at a specific time and place – they can now all show up online through the responsive web page.

The latest technology used to play the same game that was first started in 1530.  The game that has been loved and has helped those in need around the world for almost 500 years!

HOW MUCH CAN CHARITIES MAKE?

THAT DEPENDS ON SEVERAL THINGS.  AND LIKE THE GAME, THOSE THINGS ARE TRANSPARENT

– How many people are exposed to the game?
– How much people pay to play?  And remember – this is HUMANITARIAN GAMING.  We don’t want large wagers – we want small wagers from a lot of people.  Small wagers with a lot of people add up to large prizes and large profits for the charities to help people and fulfill their missions.
– How much is the game taxed?

EVERY JURISDICTION IS DIFFERENT, SO THE OUTCOMES ARE DIFFERENT.  BUT THE THINGS YOU CAN COUNT ON CONSISTENTLY ARE

– The company running the game will have local ownership.
– New jobs.
– Game integrity.
– Transparency.
– Recurring Revenue that can be relied upon.
– Profits to do good for the community.

HOW DO WE START ?

HUMANITARIAN GAMING DOES EVERYTHING ABOVE BOARD
WE NEED THE FOLLOWING

– An understanding of what type of license we will need.
– The cost for that license – if any.
– A complete understanding of the rules we will be working under.
– An understanding of taxes levied – if any.  Remember – this is a game being
  played by certifiable nonprofit organizations.
– What charities will be involved and what percentage they will receive.
– The cost to market the game properly.

THAT IS WHAT IS NEEDED TO START !

WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP TO GET STARTED IN YOUR JURISDICTION ?
